2 Hurt in 2-Car Crash on Highway 138 in Hesperia

 
HESPERIA, CA (October 17, 2022) — Two people were injured in a car accident on Highway 138 near Summit Valley Road on Thursday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle collision happened around 9:11 a.m. For unknown reasons, a white Honda Insight sedan crashed into a silver Nissan Xterra SUV between Summit Valley Road and the 15 Freeway. Arriving firefighters from the San Bernardino County Fire Department found the Honda with major front-end damage and the Nissan with driver-side damage.
 
Authorities determined that the Nissan rolled over several times from the impact.
 
Following the accident, rescue crews brought two people to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. One patient suffered minor injuries and the other sustained moderate injuries.
 
At this time, CHP officers have not confirmed the leading cause of the accident. However, an investigation into the crash should confirm the unclear details.
