BAKERSFIELD, CA (October 17, 2022) — A head-on crash on 5 Freeway took place on 5 Freeway just south of Highway 166 on Saturday, October 15.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred in the southbound lanes of the 5 Freeway a mile south of Highway 166 just before 4 p.m.
