2 Dead in 2-Car Accident at H Street and Inyo Avenue [Tulare, CA]

Man, Woman Die in 2-Car Crash at H Street in Tulare

 
TULARE, CA (June 16, 2023) — Two people died in a 2-car accident at H Street and Inyo Avenue Wednesday night.
 
According to the Tulare Police Investigation Department, the deadly two-car crash happened around 11:00 p.m. For an unknown reason, a 22-year-old Tulare man reportedly drove through an intersection after stopping at a stop sign at H Street. Subsequently, his southbound Ford collided with a silver Chevy Traverse at Inyo Avenue before it overturned.
 
Moments later, police found the Chevy Traverse driver, a 38-year-old from Tulare, responsive and brought him to a local hospital for treatment. However, the Ford Focus driver and his 23-year-old female passenger passed away at the scene.
 
Officials have yet to release their identities.
 
Authorities do not know if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident, but police are looking into the possible factors that could explain the crash.
