Children Among 3 Hurt in Pedestrian Crash on Pocket Road in Sacramento

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (December 1, 2023) — Three children and a woman suffered serious injuries in a pedestrian accident on Pocket Road near Dutra Bend Drive.
 
According to the Sacramento Police Department, the pedestrian accident happened around 6:07 p.m. Thursday. For unclear reasons, a driver lost control of a vehicle, veered off the street and struck a woman and two children.
 
Shortly after, authorities and paramedics responded to the scene to find the car overturned. Due to their conditions, paramedics brought the woman in critical condition and the three children with non-life threatening injuries to a hospital for treatment.
 
Meanwhile, Sacramento Police closed Pocket Road between Greenhaven and Dutra Bend drives to investigate.
