Rollover Crash on Highway 94 in Lemon Grove Seriously Injures Two Juvenile Passengers

 
LEMON GROVE, CA (September 18, 2023) – Two children were seriously injured in a rollover accident on Highway 94 in Lemon Grove Saturday morning on September 16.
 
The accident happened around 9:45 a.m. at College Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, a 33-year-old woman was driving a Toyota Camry with her 14-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter inside.
 
For unknown reasons, the woman swerved her Camry into another lane and crashed into a 2013 Dodge Challenger.
 
Both cars went off the highway and landed on the College Avenue’s on-ramp. The Camry overturned, throwing the girl and boy out of the car. The children were not wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
 
Paramedics took both children to a hospital with major, but non-life-threatening injuries.
 
The two drivers were also hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
 
The accident is still under investigation.
