17-Year-Old Daniel Torres Dies in Single-Car Accident near Zuni Road and Blackfoot Road

 
APPLE VALLEY, CA (December 27, 2022) — Daniel Torres died in a solo-car crash near Zuni Road and Blackfoot Road on December 13.
 
According to a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Coroner Press Release, the deadly crash happened before 1:40 p.m. California Highway Patrol officers arrived in a dirt field near the Zuni Road and Blackfoot Road intersection to find a single white truck.
 
There, they found 17-year-old Daniel “Danny” Torres with serious injuries. Subsequently, authorities requested a helicopter but canceled it and took the teen to St. Mary’s Medical Center in Apple Valley. However, despite having received life-saving efforts, Torres succumbed to his injuries.
 
Now, his family is mourning and asking the community for help to raise funds for his memorial with a GoFundMe page.
 
Reports did not indicate what drove the crash or factors that played a role. Although, an investigation should reveal these details.
