Teen Dies in Overturned Crash at Road 28 1/2 in Madera

 
MADERA, CA (October 2, 2023) — A 15-year-old died in an overturned car accident at Road 28 1/2 and Avenue 14 1/2.
 
According to the Madera California Highway Patrol officers, the deadly collision happened around 8:00 p.m. Saturday. For an unknown reason, a driver lost control of a utility vehicle on private property. As a result, the vehicle overturned and killed a 15-year-old passenger and injured a 12-year-old in the bed of the vehicle.
 
Officials have yet to release the teen’s name.
 
At this time, authorities do not suspect drugs or alcohol to have played a part. But if anyone has additional information, please call the Madera CHP.
