Bicyclist Sustains Injuries to His Abdomen after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver near Upper Drive in Corona

 
CORONA, CA (September 6, 2023) – A 14-year-old boy was injured in a hit-and-run crash near Upper Drive and Rimpau Avenue in Corona on Friday morning.
 
The crash happened around 8:26 a.m. on September 1. According to the Corona Police Department, the victim was riding his bicycle to school when a vehicle struck him in the intersection.
 
After the crash, the suspect continued driving away without stopping to render aid or contact authorities.
 
Arriving paramedics found the boy with injuries to his abdomen area. They took him to a local hospital, where the boy remains in stable condition.
 
Police described the suspect vehicle as an older model white SUV. They asked the public’s help to identify the suspect.
