13-Year-Old Joshua Mora Seriously Hurt in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash at Whittier Boulevard and Orme Avenue

 
BOYLE HEIGHTS, CA (March 31, 2023) — Joshua Mora suffered a leg injury in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident at Whittier Boulevard and Orme Avenue.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the deadly hit-and-run happened around 3:27 p.m. Thursday. For unknown reasons, a man riding his motorcycle struck 13-year-old Mora who was using a marked crosswalk at the time. Rather than administering aid to the victim, the suspect fled the scene, leaving the boy on the road, shocked and with a severed right leg.
 
Soon after, paramedics brought the victim to a hospital for immediate care.
