13-Year-Old Hospitalized in Bakersfield Skateboard Crash on Haley Street

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (May 4, 2021) — A 13-year-old was injured in a skateboard accident on Haley Street and Columbus Street Friday night.
 
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the accident happened around 11:37 p.m. on April 30. The teen reportedly tried crossing the street outside of the sidewalk when the incident happened.
 
Not long after, paramedics responded to the scene and brought the 13-year-old to a hospital with moderate injuries. Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the scene for police questioning.
