12-Year-Old Girl Struck, Injured by Vehicle at 9th Street in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (September 28, 2023) — A 12-year-old girl hit by a teen driver at 9th Street and Olive Avenue suffered minor injuries.
 
According to Fresno Police Officers, the pedestrian accident happened at the corner of Yosemite Middle School. Around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, a 17-year-old unlicensed driver struck the student in the road.
 
Despite the accident occurring, the 12-year-old suffered minor injuries but was taken to a Fresno area hospital when her parents arrived. As for the driver, he or she stayed at the scene and spoke to authorities who ruled out drugs and alcohol playing a factor.
