102-Year-Old Woman Hurt after Car Crashes Into Santa Barbara County House on Berwyn Drive

 
SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, CA (August 18, 2022) — A 102-year-old woman was injured after her car crashed into a home on Berwyn Drive near Cherry Hill Road.
 
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the accident happened around 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday. For unknown reasons, the elderly woman mistakenly accelerated into the side of her garage in the 3800 block of Berwyn Drive.
 
Soon after, police and paramedics responded to find her damaged Toyota Camry, which struck the frame of the garage to the left of her open garage door. Her home sustained minor damage and she suffered only minor injuries.
