Pedestrian Accident at Clinton and Brawley Avenues Sends Child to Hospital

 
FRESNO, CA (August 31, 2021) – A 10-year-old child sustained injuries in a pedestrian accident at Clinton Avenue and Brawley Avenue in west central Fresno Thursday morning.
 
The accident happened just after 7:30 a.m. on August 26. According to the Fresno Police Department, the child was walking in the area when he stepped off the corner in front of the vehicle. The driver then clipped him.
 
Paramedics immediately responded and rushed the child to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
 
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with officers.
 
At this time, it is unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident. Further investigation is underway.
