Bicyclists have the same rights and responsibilities as drivers. If you are driving, share the road with bicyclists. Communicate with them by using your blinkers or gesturing with your hands and making eye contact. Do not follow a bicyclist too closely — give them room. These simple reminders greatly minimize the risks of a bicycle accident.
