1 Person Dies in Pedestrian Crash on 215 Freeway in San Bernardino

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (September 11, 2023) — One person died in a pedestrian accident on the 215 Freeway near Orange Show Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal accident happened Thursday around 8:44 p.m. Upon responding, CHP officers found a victim lying on the end of the ramp north of Orange Show Road. However, despite efforts to save the victim, police officers pronounced the person deceased on arrival. Authorities do not have the victim’s name, age or gender available.
 
The drivers who hit the pedestrian pulled over and called 911. Although, detectives did not say how the crash unfolded.
 
Reports did not specify the events preceding the crash; however, we will update this report once we gather more information on what led to the accident. If anyone has seen this crash, please call the CHP.
