One Killed in Multi-Car Crash on 15 Freeway in Hesperia

 
HESPERIA, CA (September 16, 2022) — One person died in a multi-car accident on the 15 Freeway near Main Street on Wednesday morning.
 
According to reports, the deadly multi-vehicle crash happened around 4:50 a.m. north of the Main Street off-ramp. For unknown reasons, a black Toyota Camry, a Chevy Malibu and a semi-truck crashed on the northbound freeway.
 
Firefighters with San Bernardino County Fire found the Camry with driver-side damage and an occupant deceased at the scene. Authorities have yet to release the victim’s name.
 
Not far off from the Camry was the Chevy Malibu, which ended up inside a construction area. Authorities found that the vehicle had sustained most of the damage to the driver’s side and its driver with minor injuries.
 
In addition, authorities found a semi-truck that sustained damage to the rear side of the vehicle.
 
At this time, it is unclear what had occurred before the collision. However, the California Highway Patrol Victorville station will investigate this case more closely.
