SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, CA (February 1, 2022) — One person died in a head-on accident on Highway 46 near Jack Ranch on Monday afternoon.
 
According to Cal Fire, the multi-vehicle accident occurred around 12:00 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, several cars collided including two in a head-on fashion.
 
Soon after, emergency personnel responded to the scene and brought two people to a hospital with minor injuries and confirmed one fatality.
 
At this time, officers have not established the leading cause of the accident. However, an ongoing investigation into this crash should confirm more details.
