CHICO, CA (February 1, 2022) — Two people died in a car crash on Neal Dow Avenue and 5th Avenue on Sunday evening.
 
According to Chico police officers, the fatal car accident happened around 5:00 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, two cars crashed, and one of them collided into a nearby home on the corner of the intersection.
 
Shortly after, paramedics reached the scene and confirmed two fatalities.
 
At this time, officers have not established the reason for the accident. However, the Chico Police Department will investigate all angles to determine what had happened.
