1 Person Dies in 2-Car Crash on Telegraph Canyon Road in Chula Vista

 
CHULA VISTA, CA (May 17, 2023) — A person died in a 2-car accident on Telegraph Canyon Road near Paseo Ladera.
 
According to the Chula Vista Police Department, the deadly two-vehicle crash happened around 1:28 p.m. Monday. For an unknown reason, a Ford F-150 heading eastbound on Telegraph Canyon Road collided with a Honda Odyssey making a left turn from Old Telegraph Canyon Road.
 
Minutes later, paramedics arrived at the scene and brought the man in the Ford F-150 and two women in the Honda Odyssey to nearby hospitals for care. However, the driver of the Honda passed away from her wounds.
 
As a result of the crash, officials had to close the west and eastbound lanes for the investigation.
