1 Hurt in DUI Car Crash on Perrin Avenue in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (May 17, 2023) — Paramedics ushered one person to a hospital following a DUI car accident on Perrin Avenue and Maple Avenue.
 
According to Fresno Police, the DUI pedestrian accident happened around 8:18 p.m. Monday. Upon responding, authorities found two vehicles involved in the accident.
 
For DUI reasons, a driver bearing through a red traffic light failed to yield and crashed into a white Acura making a left-hand turn onto northbound Maple Avenue from Perrin Avenue.
 
Fortunately, the female driver of the Acura survived the crash unharmed. However, the driver in the other vehicle appeared to be under the influence and suffered unknown injuries.
