BAKERSFIELD, CA (May 17, 2023) — One person was injured in a pedestrian accident on Taft Highway near Hughes Lane.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian accident happened around 10:00 p.m. Monday. For an unknown reason, a driver struck a pedestrian near Hughes Lane.
