1 Person Injured, 2-Car Accident at 7th Avenue and Grangeville Boulevard [Hanford, CA]

1 Hospitalized, 2 Cars Collide at 7th Avenue in Hanford

 
HANFORD, CA (October 12, 2023) — One person suffered major injuries in a 2-car accident at 7th Avenue and Grangeville Boulevard.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle crash happened around 3:50 a.m. Wednesday. For an unknown reason, a driver of a northbound 2013 Chevrolet failed to stop at a posted stop sign at Grangeville Boulevard. Subsequently, the Chevrolet struck a 1990 AMC at an unknown speed, sending the AMC on its driver’s side.
 
Moments later, paramedics arrived and took the AMC driver to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. Officials did not say what led to the crash, but traffic investigators ruled out alcohol and drugs.
