1 Person Killed in Pedestrian Crash on 1st Street in Santa Ana

 
SANTA ANA, CA (August 21, 2023) — One person died in a pedestrian accident on 1st Street near Flower Street.
 
According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the deadly pedestrian accident happened around 5:10 a.m. Sunday. For an unknown reason, an eastbound driver struck a person crossing 1st Street.
 
Soon after, police arrived and found one person on the road. Paramedics rushed the seriously injured victim to a hospital, where the victim died.
 
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police investigators who have yet to identify the leading causes of the crash.
