1 Person Killed in Anderson Bicycle Crash on Riverside Avenue

 
ANDERSON, CA (February 1, 2022) — One person died in a bicycle accident on Riverside Avenue at Quail Lane on Sunday.
 
According to Redding California Highway Patrol officers, the fatal bicycle crash occurred around 7:00 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a vehicle struck a bicyclist at the intersection of Riverside Avenue and Quail Lane.
 
Soon after, emergency personnel reached the scene and confirmed the victim dead on arrival.
 
At this time, CHP officers have not released the leading cause of the accident. However, any witnesses with information to share should contact the CHP.
