4 People Hurt in Lake View Terrace Wrong-Way Crash on 210 Freeway

 
LAKE VIEW TERRACE, CA (February 1, 2022) — Four people suffered serious injuries in a wrong-way accident on the 210 Freeway near Osborne Street on Sunday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fiery head-on accident happened around 9:24 p.m. For unknown reasons, a driver entered the westbound side of the 210 Freeway in the wrong direction. Subsequently, the wrong-way driver collided head-on with a vehicle.
 
As a result of the impact, one of the cars became fully engulfed in flames.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded to the scene and found four injured people, two of whom sustained critical injuries in the crash.
 
At this time, officers have not confirmed the factors that contributed to the incident. However, any witnesses with information should reach out to the CHP.
