SAN PABLO, CA (February 8, 2024) — A man died in a pedestrian accident on San Pablo Avenue near Broadway Avenue.
 
According to San Pablo police officers, the fatal accident happened around 3:07 a.m. Tuesday. For an unknown reason, a driver struck a man in the roadway. Soon after, responding officers and Emergency Medical Services arrived to perform life-saving efforts on the victim. However, these attempts fell short, and the unidentified pedestrian passed away at the scene. Officials did not release his name.
 
The woman and male occupants of the vehicle involved stayed on site and cooperated with police investigators. Police did not suspect alcohol to have played a role in the accident. However, a deep dive into the crash should confirm the cause.
