Fiery Crash Involving 2 Vehicles on Van Ness Avenue in Hawthorne Kills One Person

 
HAWTHORNE, CA (December 5, 2022) – One person died and two other people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at Van Ness Avenue and Imperial Highway on Saturday evening.
 
The fatal accident happened around 10:40 p.m. on December 3. According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles collided for unknown reasons. The impact caused one of them to catch fire.
 
One person suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim was not immediately available.
 
Paramedics transported two other people to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
 
At this time, the circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
