Rollover Crash on Grapefruit Boulevard in Thermal Kills Driver and Injures Passenger

 
THERMAL, CA (December 13, 2022) – A driver died and a passenger was injured in a rollover accident on Grapefruit Boulevard in Thermal Sunday afternoon on December 11.
 
The accident happened around 12:45 p.m. at Avenue 58. According to the California Highway Patrol, a Ford F-250 pickup truck veered into the east dirt shoulder and rolled over.
 
As a result of the crash, the driver of the pickup suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
A female passenger in the vehicle suffered moderate injuries. Paramedics took her to Desert Regional Medical Center for proper treatment.
 
It is unknown at this time if alcohol and/or drugs played a factor in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
