Crash Causes Car to Hit Two Pedestrians on Noble Avenue in Visalia, Killing One and Seriously Injuring Another

 
VISALIA, CA (March 28, 2022) – One person died and another was injured in a pedestrian accident on Noble Avenue in Visalia on Thursday evening.
 
The fatal accident happened around 7:30 p.m. on March 24 at the intersection with Mooney Boulevard. According to the Visalia Police Department, a pickup truck was traveling northbound on Mooney when it ran a red light and hit a white SUV.
 
The force of the impact threw the vehicle onto the sidewalk, hitting the two male pedestrians.
 
Paramedics arrived soon after and transported the victims to a hospital, where one of them later died. The other pedestrian suffered major injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the SUV had minor injuries and remained on scene.
 
Police do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
