Truck Rear-Ends Bus on 15 Freeway in Baker Killing One and Leaving Another in Critical Condition

 
BAKER, CA (April 6, 2024) – One person died and another one was critically injured in a rear-end accident on 15 Freeway in Baker Friday afternoon on April 5.
 
The fatal accident happened around 1:05 p.m. at the Baker Boulevard off-ramp. According to the California Highway Patrol, a white Dodge Ram pickup truck rear-ended a tour bus on the northbound lanes of the freeway.
 
When officers arrived, they found one person from the Dodge Ram unresponsive.
 
Despite life-saving measures, that person was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased was not immediately available.
 
A second person suffered critical injuries. That patient was rushed to University Medical Center of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas for treatment.
 
The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
