At Least One Hurt after Two-Vehicle Accident on French Camp Road at Murphy Road in San Joaquin County

SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CA (November 8, 2024) – At least one persons sustained injuries in a two-vehicle accident on French Camp Road, Wednesday afternoon.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on November 6, at about 4:40 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, two vehicles collided near Murphy Road, just east of Manteca.

One person sustained major injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Authorities did not release the names of the people involved.

Responders temporarily closed the area to make way for clearing operations and an investigation.

CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
