Woman Hospitalized after Two-Vehicle Accident on Cherry Avenue near Rogers Street in Long Beach

 
LONG BEACH, CA (April 18, 2022) – A woman sustained injuries following a two-vehicle accident on Cherry Avenue on Thursday morning.
 
According to the Long Beach Police Department, the incident happened on April 14 at about 10:00 a.m. A vehicle reportedly attempted to make a right turn onto Cherry Avenue.
 
Then, a southbound vehicle hit the turning vehicle near the area of Cherry Avenue and Rogers Street.
 
Responders from the Long Beach Fire Department transported one occupant from the first vehicle to a local hospital. As per reports, she suffered minor injuries.
 
Meanwhile, both drivers involved remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
 
Long Beach police ruled out impairment, speeding, and distracted driving as factors in the collision. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
