Driver Runs Stop Sign and Causes Semi-Truck Accident on Palm Avenue near Roseville Road in Sacramento County

 
SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA (May 12, 2022) – One person sustained injuries in a semi-truck accident on Palm Avenue on Tuesday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on May 10 at about 2:30 p.m. A vehicle reportedly ran a stop sign at Palm Avenue and Roseville Road and T-boned a semi-truck.
 
The impact of the collision caused the semi-truck to fall over into a fence, spilling gas onto nearby train tracks.
 
One of the drivers sustained minor injuries in the crash. However, authorities did not confirm which driver was injured.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
