Car Overturns after Multi-Vehicle Accident on 60 Freeway near Rubidoux Boulevard in Riverside

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (October 10, 2022) – One person sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on 60 Freeway late Friday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on October 7 at about 4:40 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, two SUVs and a car collided on westbound 60 Freeway near Rubidoux Boulevard.
 
The impact of the collision caused one of the vehicles to overturn.
 
Emergency crews rendered aid to one injured victim. As per reports, the victim declined hospitalization.
 
Responders shut down three of four lanes to make way for clearing operations. SigAlert was later issued due to multiple lane closures.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
