SANTA CLARITA, CA (April 23, 2024) — One person suffered severe injuries in a hit-and-run scooter accident near Fourl Road and Lyons Avenue.
 
According to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, the hit-and-run happened around 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a person on an electric scooter near the intersection. Subsequently, the driver left the scene of the accident, failing to provide help to the victim.
 
Soon after, deputies and the Los Angeles County Fire Department arrived and transported the injured victim to a local hospital with traumatic injuries.
