WILLITS, CA (March 20, 2024) — One person suffered an injury in a hit-and-run 2-car accident on Sherwood Road near Main Street.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-car crash happened around 1:30 p.m. Monday. For an unknown reason, two cars collided in the 24600 block of Sherwood Road. Subsequently, one driver left the scene with major front-end damage, dragging the front bumper as he or she left.
 
Minutes later, paramedics arrived and found a woman at the scene with unknown injuries. Due to her state, they took her to a hospital for care.
