1 Hospitalized in Fiery Multi-Car Crash on 15 Freeway in Eastvale

 
EASTVALE, CA (August 18, 2023) — One person was injured in Thursday’s fiery multi-car accident on the 15 Freeway near Cantu-Galleano Ranch Road.
 
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the three-car crash happened around 8:30 a.m. For an unknown reason, three cars crashed on the southbound freeway, north of Cantu-Galleano Ranch Road.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded and took one person to a hospital with moderate injuries. Firefighters also extinguished a fire that occurred following the collision. In addition to the one patient, two people required medical assistance but declined hospital transportation.
 
As police cleared the scene, they also closed the southbound 15 Freeway for an hour before opening it around 9:30 a.m.
