1 Killed, Several Wounded in 2-Car Crash on 253rd Street in Harbor City

 
HARBOR CITY, CA (April 4, 2023) — One person died, and several others were injured in a 2-car accident on 253rd Street near Vermont Avenue.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police, the fatal crash happened around 2:20 a.m. Sunday. For unknown reasons, a red sedan and a dark-colored vehicle crashed in a nearly head-on fashion.
 
Arriving Los Angeles Fire Department officials found the two cars with major front-end damage and two people needing extrication from a vehicle.
 
Firefighter paramedic assisted six people, including one person who died at the scene. The victim’s name is unavailable at this time.
 
The cause of the crash requires additional investigation, but if anyone has more news, please call the Los Angeles police.
