Fatal Rollover Accident near Washington Street and Coyote Song Way [Palm Desert, CA]

1 Killed in Rollover Crash near Washington Street in Palm Desert

 
PALM DESERT, CA (October 28, 2022) — One person died in a rollover accident near Washington Street and Coyote Song Way on Thursday.
 
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the rollover crash happened around 5:00 p.m. Just north of Palm Desert, a driver of an unknown make and model lost control of the vehicle and crashed. Upon responding, California Highway Patrol found a vehicle on its side 50 feet from the roadway and a man lying on the side of the road.
 
It appears the car overturned several times at some point during the crash.
 
Another occupant of the car suffered major injuries and was shuttled to a hospital for treatment. Neither of the victims’ names was available.
 
At this time, CHP officers are looking into the events that led to the accident. Therefore, if anyone has more information to add, please call the CHP.
