Deadly 2-Car Collision on Highway 180 in Kerman

 
KERMAN, CA (December 22, 2023) — One person died in a head-on crash on Highway 180 near Westlawn Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-car collision happened around 6:40 a.m. Thursday. For unknown reasons, a driver in a small westbound truck entered the eastbound lane. Subsequently, the small truck collided with an eastbound work truck between Westlawn and Monroe avenues.
 
Tragically, the driver of the smaller truck died in the crash. At the time of the report, authorities did not indicate the leading cause of the accident. However, an investigation should reveal more details.
