1 Killed, Driver Strikes Pedestrian on Highway 101 in Santa Rosa

 
SANTA ROSA, CA (August 21, 2023) — One person died after a car hit a pedestrian on Highway 101 near Todd Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly pedestrian accidents happen around 11:29 p.m. Saturday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver of a black Chevrolet Camaro struck a person along northbound Highway 101.
 
The pedestrian, who remains unidentified, passed away at the scene.
 
Due to the incident, crews closed two northbound lanes. Officials do not have additional information on what led to the crash. Although, anyone with more information can call the CHP.
