1 Killed, 2 Hurt in Gardena High-Speed Crash near Rosecrans Avenue

 
GARDENA, CA (March 20, 2023) — One person died, and two others were injured in a high-speed accident near Rosecrans Avenue and Vermont Avenue.
 
According to Gardena Police Department officials, the fatal crash happened around 3:00 a.m. Friday. A driver was reportedly speeding and ran a red traffic light before crashing.
 
One person died in the incident, and two people suffered unknown injuries, prompting paramedics to shuttle them to a hospital.
 
As a result of the accident, officials closed all southbound lanes of Vermont Avenue. However, reports did not speak on the factors leading to the accident.
