1 Killed, 1 Hurt in Pedestrian Accident on 1st Street in Santa Ana

 
SANTA ANA, CA (June 6, 2022) — One person died in a pedestrian accident on West 1st Street near Andres Place on Saturday night.
 
According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the pedestrian accident occurred around 8:30 p.m.
 
For unknown reasons, a driver heading westbound on 1st Street struck two pedestrians.
 
Shortly after, emergency personnel reached the scene and pronounced one person dead and rushed the second victim to a hospital for treatment.
 
At this time, authorities have not said the primary cause of the crash. However, they do not suspect alcohol to have played a role in this crash.
