Motorcyclist Dies after Colliding with Another Vehicle on River Road in Sacramento
SACRAMENTO, CA (May 30, 2023) – Richard Gene Konlon was killed in a motorcycle accident in Sacramento Saturday afternoon on May 27.
The fatal accident happened shortly after 1:45 a.m. along River Road, just across the river from Clarksburg. According to the California Highway Patrol, Konlon was riding his motorcycle when got involved in a crash with another vehicle.
Konlon suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was a 69-year-old Orinda resident.
The driver and passenger of the vehicle had minor complaints of pain.
DUI is not suspected in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
