15-Year-Old Everett Molino Struck, Killed by Car on 10 Freeway near Waterman Avenue

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (March 27, 2023) Everett Molino died in a pedestrian accident on the 10 Freeway near Waterman Avenue.
 
According to reports, the fatal pedestrian accident happened on March 15. Molino, a 15-year-old on the autism spectrum, passed away when he went missing from a church activity in Redlands. Soon after he went missing, a search followed comprising churchgoers, Redding police officers and firefighters from Yucaipa to San Bernardino. However, the search ended early Thursday when officers informed his family that he died after being hit by a car. Molino tried to cross the lanes of the westbound 10 Freeway near Waterman Avenue when a driver hit him.
 
Loved ones of the family have created a GoFundMe page to help raise awareness and help.
 
This was not the only time Molino wandered off, which is typical for those with autism.
