Man Dies in South Los Angeles Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash near Century Boulevard

 
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (February 21, 2023) — A man died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident near Century Boulevard and Figueroa Street.
 
According to Los Angeles police, the fatal hit-and-run happened in the Vermont Vista neighborhood. Under unclear circumstances, a driver in what authorities believe was a dark-colored sedan struck a man walking in the middle of the road outside of a crosswalk. First Responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived but pronounced the victim, believed to be a homeless man, dead at the scene.
