ORICK, CA (February 9, 2023) — A woman was injured after an SUV and a bus crashed on Highway 101 near Lundblade Street.
 
According to Caltrans, the two-vehicle accident happened around 6:35 a.m. Tuesday. For some reason, a school bus and a small SUV crashed on Highway 101 in Orick. One person, the female driver of the SUV, reported injuries and was taken to a hospital around 7:00 a.m.
 
As of 7:53 a.m., traffic was moving slowly to a crawl as authorities investigated and cleaned up the scene. Reports did not say if anyone on board the bus reported any injuries.
 
No other information surrounding what drove the accident was available. Although, we will update this report once we receive more information.
