Eduardo Bautista Dies in 2-Car Crash on Baldwin Road near Burnham Road

 
OJAI, CA (November 28, 2022) — Eduardo Bautista died in a two-car accident on Baldwin Road near Burnham Road Wednesday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal two-vehicle collision happened around 6:20 p.m. For unknown reasons, Bautista allowed his westbound Dodge Challenger to cross the double yellow lines of Highway 150, also known as Baldwin Road. As a result, an eastbound Chevrolet Silverado, driven by a 59-year-old Santa Maria man, crashed into the right side of the Dodge.
 
Soon after, Ventura County firefighters responded to the scene and quickly rushed 19-year-old Bautista to Ventura County Medical Center where he died. Investigators determined that he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
 
As for the Silverado driver and his teen passenger, both from Santa Maria, they reported no injuries in the incident.
