2 Pedestrians Suffer Fatal Injuries after Struck by Car on Oceanside Boulevard on Thanksgiving Night

 
OCEANSIDE, CA (November 27, 2022) – Two people were killed in a pedestrian accident on Oceanside Boulevard on Thanksgiving night.
 
The fatal accident happened around 8:30 p.m. near State Tree Drive. According to the Oceanside Police Department, a white man and woman, both in their 40s, were walking in the middle of the roadway and not using a designated crosswalk when a vehicle struck them.
 
As a result, both pedestrians suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. Their identities were not immediately available.
 
The driver of the vehicle immediately stopped and cooperated with authorities.
 
Police said drugs or alcohol did not play a role in the crash. An investigation into this accident is ongoing.
