David Wood Jr. Killed in Bicycle Accident on Allen Road [Rosedale, CA]

Bicyclist Dies after Crash with Sedan at Allen Road and Jomani Drive

 
ROSEDALE, CA (October 19, 2022) – David Dee Wood Jr. was killed in a bicycle accident in Rosedale on Sunday morning, October 16.
 
The accident happened around 5:45 a.m. at Allen Road and Jomani Drive. According to the CHP, Wood was riding his bicycle when a black Audi sedan struck him.
 
As a result, 29-year-old Wood of Bakersfield suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene, according to the Kern County Coroner’s Office.
 
It is unclear if the driver of the Audi stayed after the crash.
 
The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident to determine the factors involved and liability.
